Dissolve kidney stones: how to dissolve kidney stones

[polldaddy poll=5003473]

Kidney stone pain is BAD and many scour the internet trying to find “home remedies” to help them pass or dissolve a kidney stone.

If you are thinking about “dissolving kidney stones with lemon juice,” this blog post may be of interest to you.

I took a kidney stone that was about 2 mm in size and put it in a container of lemon juice.  This kidney stone was then thoroughly soaked in lemon juice (i.e. completely covered) for more than three days.  At the end of a 72+ hour period the kidney stone was not only still completely intact, there was no evidence that it had diminished in size.

My kidney stone experiment was not some type of formal test or done in a lab and I have no medical training; if you are looking for advice on how to deal with a kidney stone this web page is not the place to go.  I can only tell what I did and report that immersing a kidney stone in lemon juice and keeping it submerged for more than three days did not work.
