God does not see repeat encouragement as a weakness.

The message to Joshua was to “Be strong and of good courage” in taking on a new challenge.

God repeated the same message to Joshua (Joshua 1:6, 7, 9, 18) after Moses had died. It could be there was something in Joshua that needed reassuring after hearing it the first time.

Too often you and I put ourselves down as failures because we “fail” to get it right the first time after hearing the commandments of God.

God does not see repeat encouragement as a weakness.

You and I should see it as a necessary activity to give us confidence in good times, and not-so good times.

If God did not consider us worthy of obedience, he could give us over to hard, stubborn mind, 2 Thessalonians 2:11, that will certainly result in removal from the book of Life. Instead we are given the time to open our minds to the constant assurance and steadfast love of the Lord.

Today in the midst of certain daily tribulations , pray that we can accept the guidance of the Lord in knowledge and wisdom even if it takes hearing the same message/scripture/sermon 7, 70, or 7000 times.

Be strong and courageous and allow God to use each of us in growing the kingdom that Jesus Christ built on earth, so we can put our minds seeking eternal rewards in heaven.

Ephesians 6:10 Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord, and in the power of his might.

Have a great day
