Thanks for all of the first responders

who come to the aid of those in need,

who bravely work to save people’s lives

with the utmost speed.

 

They risk life and limb

to rescue people each day

Without their hard work and dedication

many lives would be lost along the way.

 

Thanks for all the men and women

who serve in the military, too

who work tirelessly each day

to protect me and you

 

They put themselves in harm’s way

to defeat evil people everywhere

while their loved ones stay at home

with their own heavy load to bear.

 

May God be with all those brave men and women

as they do their jobs each and every day.

May He always keep them safe

is what I always pray.
